HEBRON – Mark Simms netted a pair of goals to lift Hebron to a 5-4 win over Hoosac in boys’ varsity hockey action Friday.
Hebron took a 3-2 lead after the first period on scoring from Simms, Brad Flynn and Mike Kravchuk. Randy Moreau netted a pair of goals for Hoosac in the first frame.
Luke MacDonald opened the second period with a goal for Hebron, and Hoosac responded with a pair to even the game. Simms converted a relay from Joey King to score the final and winning goal of the contest at 12:06 of the second period.
