1918 – 2004

DANVERS, Mass. – Alice E. Conley, 85, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, Feb. 21, at her home. She was a retired Danvers State Hospital employee.

Born in Salem, Mass., May 24, 1918, the daughter of the late Jean and Marie E. Armstrong Beliveau, she was raised and educated there. She had resided in Danvers for more than 60 years.

She retired from the housekeeping department of Danvers State Hospital after many years of service in the mid-60s. She was previously employed by the former Ideal Baby Shoe Company and Binney & Smith Crayon Company of Danvers.

She had been a member of the former Loyal Order of Moose, Danvers Lodge.

She is survived by one son, John and his wife Claire Conley of Jay; a daughter, Ellen and her husband Chet Pszenny of Peabody, Mass.; four grandchildren, Tina Mackay, Trey Pszenny, Debbie Krobeth, and Chris Conley; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of of the late Irene L’Italien, Roger Beliveau and Armand Beliveau; and the former wife of the late Harry C. Conley.
