TURNER – The Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary is planning a benefit supper for longtime firefighter Cliff Jordan, who has been diagnosed with leukemia.

The supper will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Boofy Quimby Memorial Center in North Turner. The menu will include hot dogs and beans, chop suey, coleslaw, drinks and dessert. Proceeds will benefit Jordan’s family for various expenses. He is currently at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
