AUBURN – The Stanton Bird Club’s Junior Naturalist Club held its annual meeting recently at Schooner Estates.
The juniors worked with the residents to make six kinds of bird feeders using popcorn, cranberries, bagels, peanut butter and bird seed. The feeders were hung in the grove of trees along the nature trails behind Schooner Estates so all the residents and staff could enjoy the winter birds.
Parents Butch Baxter and Karen Bonneau and Schooner Estates staff member Paulette helped make the event possible.
The Junior Naturalist Club is open to students in grades two through six. For more information, call Susan Hayward, 782-5238.
