LEWISTON – Republicans in Androscoggin County will hold a Super County Caucus on March 6 at the Multi-Purpose Center to vote for a presidential candidate, choose delegates to the state convention and take care of other party business.

Eleven municipalities will hold their caucuses at various times throughout the morning in the building. A general meeting will begin at 10 a.m. in the cafeteria, where speakers will include Peter Cianchette, representing President Bush; Joe Bruno, the minority leader of the Maine House; and Brian Hamel, District 2 congressional candidate.

Doors open at 8 a.m. Poland’s caucus will begin at 8:30. Lisbon/Lisbon Falls, Livermore, Livermore Falls, Minot, Sabattus and Wales will hold 9 a.m. caucuses, while Auburn, Greene, Lewiston and Turner will hold their caucuses beginning at 11 a.m.
