JAY – A new Web site dedicated to a missing Jay girl has been set up. Seventeen-year-old Kimberly Moreau was last seen May 10, 1986.

Kimberly was last seen leaving her Jewell Street home nearly 18 years ago with an unknown individual who was driving a late model white Pontiac Trans Am.

Her father, Dick Moreau, has offered a $5,000 reward for the location and remains of his daughter or the conviction of whoever was responsible for her disappearance.

Posters with Kimberly’s pictures have been taped to utility poles around the region.

Business-size cards have been printed with contact numbers on them in case someone knows something.

And now a Web site dedicated to “Kimberly Moreau – A life interrupted” can be found at www.freewebs.com/find-kim.

The site includes poems, songs, a guest book, pictures of Kim, links, contact numbers and a place to leave messages.

State Police conducted several searches in Livermore Falls, Jay and Canton last year with cadaver dogs.

Dick Moreau said they’ve received several tips that will be investigated this spring.

“We have been very busy,” Moreau said. “It’s like every week three or four things come in. We’re going to have a very busy spring.”
