JAY – The St. Rose Circle 677, Daughters of Isabella, will lead the parish for the Stations of the Cross at 6 p.m. before Mass on Friday, Feb. 27.
Members held their February social Tuesday with Mardi Gras as their theme. Husbands or other guests were invited.
The circle is planning a public baked bean supper at the St. Rose Hall from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on March 20. Proceeds will benefit needy families. There will also be raffles and 50/50 tickets. Meal tickets are $5.
At the monthly business meeting, it was reported that two members, Judy Pottle and Simone Coleman, went to Washington in January for the National Right to Life March.
It was also reported that the Souper Bowl of Caring was a success and up to $500 of the amount raised will be matched by the Sandy River Challenge to benefit the local Food Cupboard.
Baskets were made for three needy families at Christmastime.
