MIAMI, Fla. – The University of Maine baseball team kicked off the 2004 season Sunday with an 8-0 win over St. Francis.

Ryan Harris recorded the win, pitching seven strong innings – striking out six while allowing only four hits.

The Black Bears offense was led by Joe Hough, who blasted a home run and a single. Greg Creek went four-for-five with two RBIs.
