AUBURN -Northeast Bank announced the addition of Christine Yates as assistant sales manager at its South Paris branch. Yates will be responsible for daily operation of the branch and support of the branch’s sales efforts.

Yates brings more than 25 years of banking experience to Northeast, having worked at branches throughout Oxford County for Norway Savings Bank and prior to that for Norway National Bank.

An active firefighter for the town of Norway, Yates is a board member of the local March of Dimes chapter where she helps to organize the annual Walk-a-Thon. Yates is also active in helping organize the Maine Veterans Memory Walk and is heavily involved in Rightstart Inc.’s Christmas for Kids program, which holds an annual Jump in the Lake to raise money for more than 800 local children at Christmastime.

Yates lives in Norway with her husband and has two children and two grandchildren.
