1931 – 2004

TILTON, N.H. – Stanley R. Millett, 72, of Sanbornville, N.H., died Saturday evening, Feb. 28, at the new Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton.

He was born in Waterford, Me, Oct. 6, 1931 the son of Clyde W. and doris Mae Brown Millett, Sr. He attended school in Waterford and faithfully served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He had worked as a contractor, then at 3M Co. in Connecticut until it closed and his most recent employment was as the transfer station attendant in Acton. He was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed flea markets and going to the dog races.

Survivors include 3 brothers and thier wives, Charles and Marie of Norway, Hartley Sr. and Lucille of Mechanic Falls and William and Carol of Norway; 3 sisters and their husbands, Helen and George McKay of Norway, Irene and Richard Colby of Paris Hill and Dorothy Millett of Oxford. His companion Agnes Newcomb of Sanbornville, N.H.; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by Clyde Jr. and Shirley.
