LEWISTON – Drillen True Value Hardware opened the doors of its new Lewiston location at 1086 Sabattus St. on January 14.

A fixture in the Greater Portland community for more than 20 years, Drillen True Value is a local, family-owned hardware store offering a broad mix of home improvement products. The new 5,000-square-foot store offers customers a variety of services including heater repair and computerized paint matching.

Through its affiliation with TruServ, a national hardware buying Co-op, Drillen True Value is able to integrate national programs and global buying power into a local business.

“We are pleased to be moving into the Lewiston-Auburn area and hope that our investment in the community will contribute to the continuing redevelopment of the twin cities,” said Shawn Drillen, who runs the business along with his father, Barney.
