Dear Sun Spots: I am a mom who is home-schooling her three children. I am looking for elementary-size school desks for my kids to do their schoolwork at. Dear Sun Spots: I would gladly accept soap and shampoo and whatever else you have in small sizes. If you are not too far from me, I could make arrangements to pick them up. Answer:
The only carrier Sun Spots knows of is Elm Ice and Oil Co. on the Gray Road in Falmouth, (207) 797-5691. It is located in the Portland North Business Park. Take Exit 10 off the Maine Turnpike, bear right after the tollbooths and take the first right. Elm Ice is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon. Perhaps other readers are aware of others who carry this and would be willing to contact the column with that information. In the meantime, try Elm Ice and Oil.

Dear Sun Spots: You have helped so many people. I hope you can help me.

I am looking for someone who sells Mary Kay cosmetics. I do not need a whole makeup session. I just want to buy a couple of items. Is there someone in the Lewiston area who sells Mary Kay? I am almost out of makeup and Mary Kay is one of the few I can wear that I am not allergic to. Thanks. – No Name, Lewiston.
