NEW VINEYARD – The 2004 New Vineyard Republican Caucus has been called by Gary Bestwick for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Smith Hall.

It is open to all enrolled Republicans.

The purpose is to elect five delegates and five alternates to the Republican State Convention to be held May 14 and 15 in Augusta; to elect two members to the Franklin County Republican Committee; and to organize and elect members to the New Vineyard Republican Town Committee.

Following the caucus, the Town Committee will meet to elect officers.

Town of Rangeley on March 7

RANGELEY – The town of Rangeley Republican Committee will host a caucus at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 7, at the Town Office.

There will be an election of officers and delegates to the state convention. The following guests will be present: Tom White, who is running for Franklin County sheriff; Fred Hardy, incumbent Franklin County commissioner; Lance Harvell for representative; and a representative of the Maine Bush Campaign.

Voter registration officers will be present to receive new electoral registrations.

Strong caucus

on March 7

STRONG – The Strong Republican Committee will meet at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 7, at the Forster Memorial Building to host a caucus.

There will be an election of officers and delegates to the state convention. The following guests will attend: Tom White, candidate for Franklin County sheriff; Fred Hardy incumbent Franklin County commissioner; Lance Harvell running for representative; and a representative of the Maine Bush Campaign.

Voter registration officers will also be present.
