LEWISTON – Lewiston Area Youth Hockey League Royal Flooring Pee Wee Tier II hockey team compiled a 2-0-1 record in recent action in the New Hampshire Seacoast League. Lewiston edged Lake Region 2-1 as Cody Lessard and Donnie Larrivee tallied the goals. Trevar Haefele drew an assist. Cam Poussard was the winning goalie. . . Steve Gendron and Zach Parker each netted 2 goals as Lewiston nipped Berlin 5-4. Sam Cloutier also lit the lamp. Receiving assists were Brian Elie (3), Alex Stone, Lessard and Gendron. Josh Charest donned the pads. . . Lewiston and Avalanche of New Hampshire skated to a 1-1 tie. Parker scored the lone goal with Elie assisting. Poussard and Charest shared the net duties. Playing solid defense during those the games were Nick Mathon and Cody Dussault.

The Lewiston Peewee Pirates blanked Midcoast 7-0 as goalies Willie Tyner and Logan Van Vlack shared the shutout. Patrick Collins notched a hat trick. Ryan Urquhart, Josh Smith, Jared Bourgoin and Cam Obie all scored a goal. Credited with assists were Obie, Smith, Collins, Drew Bent and Brian Lagasse. The Pirates will compete in the Casco Bay Invitational this weekend to conclude their season.
