GARDINER – The Gardiner Bicentennial Committee is inviting the public to a classical music concert by Portland Chamber Music Festival performers at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 7.

The concert will be held in Christ Church Episcopal, which is on the Common at 2 Dresden Ave. The program will be Duo in E-flat Major, “Eyeglasses” by Ludwig van Beethoven; Suite in G minor, Opus 71, for Two Violins and Piano by Maurice Moszkowski; and the Piano Quintet in A Major, Opus 81 by Antonin Dvorak.

Portland Chamber Music Festival musicians are Catherine French, violin; Jennifer Elowitch, violin; Carol Rodland, viola; Joel Moerschel, cello; and Dena Levine, piano. The performers live and work in New York and the Boston area. Moerschel is retired from the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Refreshments will be served during intermission and at a reception following the performance, when the musicians will be available to meet members of the audience.

Tickets are $10 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Gardiner.
