AUBURN – Takeshin Kaneko drained a game-high 23 points to pace No. 2 New Hampshire Technical College to an 81-63 win over No. 6 Southern Maine Community College in the second round of the USCAA Men’s Division II National Tournament Friday evening.

The Southern Maine Sea Wolves held a 36-30 lead at the end of the first half but the Capitals utilized a 51-27 run in the second half to record the victory.

SMCC was paced by Jeremy Bennett with 16 points while Steven Patrick and Matt Ouelette added 15 and 13.
