The district choruses in grades 5 through 12 will present a Chorus Festival at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, in Mount Blue High School gym. Special features will include a massed choir of all participants accompanied by the Mount Blue High School Jazz Band. The Franklin County Fiddlers will accompany the Mount Blue High School chorus.
The district Orchestra Celebration will be presented at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, in the Mount Blue High School gym. Included in this concert are all string ensembles in grades 4 through 12 and the Mount Blue Middle School Fiddlers and the Franklin County Fiddlers.
The final district concert, Band-a-rama, will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at Mount Blue High School. All instrumental musicians, grades 5 to 12, will perform as well as the High School Jazz Band.
These concerts are free and open to the public. The SAD 9 Music Boosters will again sell Gifford’s Famous Ice Cream after the concerts.
