AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA will offer a group smoking cessation program from March 17 to April 14. The five-week program will run from 6 to 7 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays.

The American Cancer Society program is designed to provide each participant with a road map to living a smoke-free lifestyle. Skills focused on in this program include goal setting and planning, stress management, weight management, assertiveness and overall healthy lifestyle choices.

Melissa Bilodeau, health educator and licensed athletic trainer, will facilitate the program. Bilodeau has led the program several times in the community.

Classes will be held at the YMCA at 62 Turner St. For more information or to register call 795-4095. The fee for YMCA members is $50; nonmembers, $60.
