It was brought to the attention of administration on Tues., Jan. 20, through a telephone call from a concerned parent, that there have been recent incidents of excessive speed in our parking lot as parents/guardians are dropping off and/or picking up our students. We are, therefore, reminding our student drivers, as well as their parents/guardians, that the posted speed limit is 10 mph when driving into and exiting our school facilities. Due to driver inattention and excessive speed on Tuesday, a parent reported nearly being hit head on by another vehicle – operated by an adult – in the area near the circle.
We are asking that everyone be mindful of the safety of our students and our staff at all times when operating a vehicle on school grounds. Thank you for your cooperation.
