Leavitt Area High School

A series of workshops for parents and their children in grades 4-8 is being offered in Turner. The workshops will take place in the Media center at Tripp Middle School beginning March 11, and continuing on March 18 and 25, and the April 1 and 8.

These workshops, run by Vicky Weigman and Kim Sprague, will be held from 6-8 pm on the mentioned dates, and will teach parents and students bonding skills, and how to handle the peer pressures of drug and alcohol use. The workshops are free, and gift certificates to Hannaford will be offered to parents attending at least 4 out of the 5 workshops.
