1911 – 2004

FARMINGTON – Isabell L. Clark, 92, a former resident of Main Street in Lewiston, died Monday evening, March 8, at Franklin Memorial Hospital after a brief stay.

She was born in Jay on May 27, 1911, the daughter of Alphonse and Cordelia Paquette Labbe. She was a 1929 graduate of Jay High School.

On April 20, 1946, she married Malcolm Clark in Lewiston.

She and her husband lived in Wilton for 20 years where she was employed by Bass Shoe Co. They later made their home in Greene before his death on Oct. 30, 1985.

In 1986, she relocated to Main Street in Lewiston. Most recently, due to ill health, she was living with her nephew and his wife, Donald and Judy Labbe of Chesterville who cared for her. She enjoyed playing cards and cribbage and always looked forward to spending time with family.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Edward, Francis, Alfie “Peter”, Roland and Wilfred “Bill” Labbe; three sisters, Emelda Filteau, Cora Labbe and Erma Johnson.
