1949 – 2004
PHOENIX – Raynald A. Cloutier, 54, died Tuesday, March 2, as a result of injuries sustained when struck by a motor vehicle. “Ray” had been a resident of Phoenix the last 18 years having moved there from Lewiston.
He was born on Sept. 6, 1949, the son of Aurele and Jeanne D’Arc (Doyon) Cloutier.
He was employed as a medical orderly at the Phoenix Baptist Hospital and before moving to Phoenix he had worked at J.L. Hayes and later at Downeast Foods. He was educated in the Lewiston school system. He was a member of the Pine Tree Warriors Drum and Bugle Corps.
He is survived by one son, Andre and his wife Beth of Auburn; one daughter, Danielle Cloutier of Lewiston; one brother, Edouard Cloutier of Lincolnville; one sister, Jacqueline Desjardins and her husband Roger of Lewiston; one grandson, Gage Cloutier of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews.
