FORT MEYERS, Fla. – Lauren Ackein went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to pace Clark University to a 6-0 romp over St. Joseph’s College in collegiate softball action Tuesday afternoon.
Jenn Scavone chipped in for Clark with two hits and one RBI. Lindsay Demers went the distance on the hill and earned the win.
Allyson Ferguson held the mound for St. Joe’s, allowing seven hits in seven innings.

FORT MEYERS, Fla. – Jamie Goldman ripped an RBI single in the sixth inning to lift Curry College to a 1-0 win over St. Joseph’s in softball.
Kimberly Sturgis threw five strikeouts and allowed just four hits while earning the win. Kahler Downing went the distance on the hill for St. Joseph’s, allowing five hits while taking the loss.
