LEWISTON – Cassandra Dee Howe, 18 months, died Tuesday, March 9, at CMMC following a tragic car accident on Route 202 in Monmouth.
Cassandra was born on Aug. 27, 2002, in Lewiston, the daughter of Arthur and Debra A. Cadwell Howe of Blue Rock Road in Monmouth. She loved to listen to music and dance and always made everyone around her smile.
Her favorite toy was Hokey Pokey Elmo and she also loved her singing dog and talking army man which she would sing along with. She always looked forward to visiting her Aunt Mary where she would play with Deirdre and Nathan Berube.
Cassandra is survived by her parents of Monmouth; a brother, Aaron also of Monmouth; paternal grandparents, Edward and Susan Howe of Vassalboro; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Kemp of Monmouth; great-grandmother, Doris Dean of Massachusetts; aunts, Mary Hamel of Leeds, Hannah Cadwell of Monmouth, Rachel MacArthur of Oakland and April Howe-Castin of Waterville; uncles, Robert Cadwell of Winthrop, John Cadwell of Lewiston and Edward Howe Jr. of Manchester, N.H.; stepuncles, Stanwood, Dennis and Sherwood Kemp of Leeds; stepaunts, Rowena Fletcher of Leeds, Elaine Bragdon of Lewiston, Arlene Richard of Gardiner, Charlene Willette of Sabattus; and two cousins, Jennifer MacArthur and Joe Cadwell.
Cassandra was predeceased by her grandfather, Charles Kemp; and an uncle, George Cadwell Jr.
