The Androscoggin Transportation Resource Center is considering eight plans and two of them involve building a half-interchange on River Road in Lewiston and a full-interchange on Route 136 in Auburn. This information was incorrect in a story on Sunday’s B1. The Lewiston half-interchange would only allow northbound turnpike traffic to exit and cars going south to get on the turnpike. The Auburn exit would be a full-interchange, allowing northbound and southbound traffic to get on and off of the highway. A public discussion of the eight options is scheduled for later this month.
