BOSTON – The 15th annual Boston Bruins Wives’ Charity Carnival took place recently when the Kora Klowns of Lewiston joined their counterparts from Aleppo Shrine to provide a day of fun and entertainment. They also visited the Boston burns hospital.
Each year the players’ wives and girlfriends select a local charity to receive carnival proceeds. This year the money benefited the Boston Bruins Foundation and Star House.
Star House provides a home for children ages 5 through 12 who undergo long-term therapy for abuse and trauma. The mission of the Boston Bruins Foundation is to assist charitable organizations that demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for children.
