LIVERMORE FALLS – Selectmen will open their 6:30 p.m. meeting Monday with a public hearing for discussion on discontinuance of two roads.

One of these is on Route 17, the edge of the road in front of the Nolette and Webster properties, and the other is a driveway opposite the Strickland Loop intersection.

This is the first step in a process that will end with a vote at the annual town meeting June 9.

The board will then discuss with Roger Ouellette ideas and dates for a celebration of the Library Association’s 100th anniversary.

Other agenda items will be a lawn mower purchase, a Rotary Christmas Tree for Union Park, tax reform and its effect locally, tax-acquired properties and re-purchase agreements and the budget.
