1953 – 2004
THOMASTON – Gordon M. Wentzell Jr., 50, of Thomaston died Sunday, March 14, peacefully at home to be with his Lord after a long illness.
He is the son of Gordon and Louise (Noyes) Wentzell of Rumford and Orlando, Fla. He was born in Rumford on August 27, 1953.
He attended school in Rumford and graduated in 1972 from Rumford High and also from S.M.V.T.I. in 1974. He was a foreman for Cores lab in Thomaston, Conn. for many years he was also a Demolay. He also had a passion for hunting, fishing and Ford cars.
Besides his parents and companion Debra Oullette of Thomaston, Conn. he is survived by two daughters, Michelle and Rebecca Wentzell both of Windsor; two sisters, Sandra Wentzell and Cheryl Bell both of Rumford; one brother, CPO Kurt Wentzell HCM of Virginia Beach, Va. and one granddaughter, Faith Marie.
He is predeceased by one brother, Rex S. Wentzell.
