PARIS – A Tax Reform/Tax Relief Forum offered by the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 1. It will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the forum at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. If people were registered for the original date, there is no need to contact the chamber office because they will automatically be re-registered.

Lenten luncheon on Thursday

PARIS – The Deering Memorial Methodist Church will hold its next Lenten luncheon at noon Thursday, March 18, in the stone church at the corner of Main and Church streets. The menu will include soup, salad and sandwich. A sermonette will be held with a guest speaker, the Rev. Gertrude DeCoteau of the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church.

New schedule for fire permits

NORWAY – The Town Office has announced that, effective immediately, fire permits will only be available at the Town Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and at the Fire Department, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday.
