LEWISTON – Andover College will debut its newest campus Thursday morning.

The public is invited to the celebration of the Lewiston-Auburn campus of the Portland-based business college at 415 Lisbon St. The college is the first part of Lewiston’s Southern Gateway redevelopment work to be finished.

The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 11 a.m., followed by tours of the facility.

Renovations began four months ago. The campus encompasses 13,000 square feet of space. It includes 12 classrooms with state-of-the-art lab and IT equipment and a library.

City, business and education leaders will be on hand. More than $500,000 was spent on the renovations to the former Good Shepherd Food Bank warehouse. The building is designed to accommodate approximately 250 students plus faculty and support staff.

Classes are scheduled to begin Monday, March 22.
