SABATTUS – Council Bishop Edward C. O’Leary 13181, Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Rosary, held a spaghetti supper to benefit 8-year-old Jonathan Kearns of Sabattus.

Kearns has been diagnosed with Birketts lymphoma cancer.

Many businesses in Auburn, Lewiston and Sabattus donated. Canisters were placed at establishments and personal donations were given. Chairmen Roland R. St. Amand presented a $5,000 check to Kearns.

Others taking part were Joseph Bourgoin, Christian Langlais, Gervis Leger, Maurice Dion, Lena Galipeau, Robert Ayotte, Howard Levesque, Daniel Bouffard, Daniel Dion, Dennis Fournier, Donald Gensure, Donald and Jack Champage, Fernand and Heydi Langlais, Jeannette St. Amand, Pauline Bourgoin, Judy Fournier and Adam and Ian Bouffard.
