HANOVER – The next Neighborhood Watch Committee meeting will feature a discussion by an Oxford County Regional Communication Center spokesperson.
The regular monthly meeting, to which all Hanover residents are invited, takes place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, at the town office.
Over the past year or so, residents have heard Oxford County deputies, State Troopers and animal control officer, among others, discuss a variety of safety issues appropriate to the area.

Dixfield:
School board, selectmen papers
DIXFIELD – Nomination papers will be available for two seats on the Board of Selectmen and two seats on the SAD 21 board on Friday, March 19, at the town office.
The selectmen seats are currently held by Sandra Buchanan, a Western Maine Transportation employee, and Hugh Daley, chairman of the board for several years.
At SAD 21, the seats up for election are currently held by Barbara Chow, the current chairwoman, and Shelly Harlow, a Victorian Villa in Canton employee.
All terms are for three years.
Those interested in running must gather the signatures of at least 25 registered Dixfield voters and turn them into the town office no later than 4 p.m. Thursday, April 29.
Municipal elections will take place on June 8, the same day as the statewide primary elections.
