1909 – 2004

AUBURN – Katheryn “Pinky” I. Meserve, 94, formerly of Canton died peacefully Wednesday, March 17, at Clover Manor with her granddaughter at her side.

She was born in Hartford on April 15, 1909, the daughter of George and Lena Canwell Tucker. She graduated from Canton High School in 1927, and had been a homemaker all of her life.

In her younger years she delivered the R.F.D. mail by horse and wagon. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and watching her great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. She married Russell O. Meserve in 1950, he passed away in 1989.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Laurali Bonney of Clinton; a stepson, William Meserve and his wife Saundra of Jay; two stepdaughters, Rhonda Small and her husband Manford of Jay and Connie Brown of Clifton Park, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Cathy Lowe, Babe Hanson and Jeanette O’Neil.

She was predeceased by two sons, Max W. Bonney and Lawrence Richard Bonney; two brothers, Vivian Tucker and Richard Tucker; four sisters, Evelyne, Velma, Shirley and Phyllis; three grandsons, Mark Bonney, Stevie Moulton and Kenny Moulton; and a great-grandson, Brandon Moulton.
