Several local players have been selected to participate in the KVAC Senior Boys Basketball All-Star Game which will be held next Wednesday.

Brian Wells of Mt. Blue and Corey Tielinen of Oxford Hills will play for the KVAC North team. Nick Beauchesne of Lewiston, Kenny Poulin of Edward Little and Jake Witham of Leavitt will suit up for the KVAC South.

The game will start at 6 p.m. at Thomas College in Waterville.

Also playing for the North squad, which will be coached by Troy Scott of Skowhegan, are Messalonskee’s Joe Beaudoin and John Fisher, Isaac Hutchinson of Messalonskee, Zach Davis of Skowhegan, Lawrence’s Nate Lambert and Trevor Woods and Justin Rice of Medomak Valley.

Playing for the South squad, to be coached by Dana Doran of Gardiner, will be Adam Vachon of Cony, Brandon Sewall and Mason Loveitt of Morse, Brunswick’s Ralph Mims, and Andy Cantrell and Colin Meyn of Mt. Ararat.
