The Nassoons, an all-male a cappella group, will sing popular music in a concert Friday in New Gloucester.

NEW GLOUCESTER – The Princeton Nassoons, the university’s oldest all-male a cappella chorus, will present a concert of popular music at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 19, in the First Congregational Church.

Seventeen singers, including Alex Fiorentino, who graduated last year from Gray-New Gloucester High School, are on a spring tour. Formed in 1941, The Nassoons rank have toured internationally and appearing as guests on NBC’s “Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, CBS’s “Early Show” with Bryant Gumbel and at the White House.

Admission to the concert will be by donation to defray the Nassoons’ travel expenses and support the church’s music program.
