LEWISTON – The Board of Directors of Androscoggin Bank announced the promotion of seven employees to the position of assistant vice president. They are Buffy Cloutier, Patrician Cornell, Amanda Gauthier, Rick Olfene, Diane Jackson, Michael Williams and Susan (Wixom) Landry.
Cloutier has been promoted at the Sabattus Street branch. She has six years of experience as an assistant branch manager. A volunteer for the Lewiston/Auburn Rotary, she attended Dean College, University of Maine Farmington and the New England School of Banking. She lives in Lewiston with her fiancé, Daniel Dumont, and her two children, Ethan and Abigail.
Cornell has held the positions of teller supervisor and assistant branch manager. She serves the South Paris branch. She has volunteered for Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice, Maine Handicap Skiing Program, Project Graduation, the Norway-Paris Lions Club, and the board of the March of Dimes. She earned a diploma from the American Institute of Banking and resides in Oxford with her husband, Ken.
Gauthier began as a teller with Androscoggin Bank in 1995 and has held the positions of teller, assistant manager and branch manger at the Lisbon Street branch. A graduate of Lewiston High School, she has completed several courses through L/A College. She is a resident of Litchfield and has two daughters, Sabrina and Cassandra.
Olfene has served as the bank’s collection manager and special asset officer. He is actively involved with the Kora Shrine Temple where he has served as past chief executive officer. A graduate of Northeastern University, Olfene is licensed as a general real estate appraiser and resides in Cape Elizabeth.
Jackson, former manager of the Turner branch, will be responsible for staff development as well as commercial, consumer and mortgage lending. She started with Androscoggin Bank in 1998 and has held positions as teller, teller supervisor and assistant manager.
An active supporter of the March of Dimes, she resides in Jay with her husband and two sons.
Williams is former manager of the Minot Avenue branch. Specializing in small business and mortgage and consumer lending, he has attended the University of Maine Farmington and is a graduate of Androscoggin Leadership Development Institute. He has served on the United Way Allocations Panel, Chamber of Commerce Regional Image Committee and is a member of the Lewiston/Auburn Rotary as well as the Auburn Exchange Club. He resides in Lewiston with his wife, Denise and their two sons.
Landry, former manager of the Turner Street branch, will be responsible for small business development, mortgage and consumer loans as the overall operation of the branch.
She was employed at Northeast Bank for 12 years as a teller, branch manager and business development officer. A native of Topsham, she resides there with her two daughters, Andrea and Alisa.
