Gospel concert
OXFORD – The Hosanna New Testament Church will host a gospel concert featuring the Heaven’s Blend Quartet from the mid-coast of Maine at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at the church, 109 Schoolhouse Road. The quartet is comprised of five ordained ministers: Pastor Carroll Pennel from the Word of God Fellowship Chruch in Brunswick, John Bailey and Tim Connelly of the same church, and Pastor Gary Leet of the Lisbon Free Baptist Church and Pastor Tom Rawley from the Waldoboro Word of Life Church. Each member has been involved in a music ministry for several years. Their music style is Southern Gospel with a close blend of harmonics. GOP caucus
HANOVER – Paul Ramsey, chairman of the Hanover Republican Committee, has issued an invitation to all registered local Republicans to caucus at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at the home of Norm and Barbara Ferguson. The purpose of the caucus is to elect delegates and alternates to the Republican State Convention. The convention will be held May 14 and 15 at the Augusta Civic Center. Other business will be to organize the Hanover Committee and nominate members to the Oxford County Committee. All Hanover Republicans and interested citizens are invited to attend.
