FARMINGTON – Bouquets of 10 daffodils will be available at the Hannaford store from March 24 to 27 while supplies last as part of the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days campaign.
“Daffodil Days is a great way to welcome spring and to offer hope to people affected by cancer. People who make a donation for a bouquet of daffodils or who volunteer to prepare and deliver them truly realize how important hope is in the hearts of cancer patients,” said Ray Kautzman from the Cancer Society.
Funds raised support the society’s programs. They also help the society continue with its research projects.
Bouquets at Hannaford’s will be available for a $7 donation. Gifts of Hope, which are bouquets of daffodils in vases, are available for $20 and will be delivered anonymously to cancer patients in hospitals or nursing homes or to others in need.
