MEXICO – Selectmen are expected to get an update on various economic projects, discuss changing the board meeting format, and set several meetings when they meet on Wednesday.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the town office.

Town Manager Joseph Derouche will report on the results of a meeting he and others involved with the River Valley Growth Council made to the National Renewable Energy Lab in Colorado as well as several potential economic projects now under way in the River Valley area.

He will also bring the board up to date on plans to replace the recreation building boiler. An estimate of $50,000 to replace the boiler was made at as earlier board meeting.

Other agenda items include a presentation by the Citizens Advisory Committee on the upcoming Keep Mexico Moving forum, appointment of a new Budget Committee member, and a discussion on town properties.

Closed sessions are set to discuss at least two proposed business ventures and the administrative duties of several officials.
