LIMESTONE – The Maine School of Science and Mathematics is taking applications for the summer camps.
The goal of the camps is for every camper to become more confident and excited about pursuing further studies and, ultimately, careers related to these fields. The camps will run throughout July according to the following schedule:
July 4 to 10, boys currently in grades five to seven; July 11 to 17, boys in grades seven to nine; July 18 to 24, girls in grades seven to nine; July 25 to 31, girls in grades five to eight.
The camps will offer a variety of hands-on courses delving into topics such as astronomy, computer programming, Web design, mathematics and architecture. Each camp will also have recreational activities such as swimming, soccer, arts and crafts.
