PERU – In his report to the Board of Selectmen Monday, Road Commissioner David Gammon said he was putting together specifications for the truck his department is planning to purchase later this year.

Once they are finished, the specs will be announced so companies can bid on the truck. The due date for bids is expected to be set for the end of April or early May so that the truck will be ready for next winter.
