LEWISTON – Holy Family Church at 607 Sabattus St. is offering a support group for families of U.S. soldiers serving the country. The group facilitator is Raymond F. Duchette, LCSW.

The meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays in the rectory meeting room of Holy Family. Those attending should use the back entrance of the rectory. The next meetings will be March 25 and April 15. After that the group will meet every other Thursday. All are welcome.

Duchette received his master’s degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lakes College (Wordon School of Social Services) in San Antonio, Texas, in 1971.

He spent more than 33 years working for the Department of Human Services in the Bureau of Child and Family Services. Duchette works part-time for Richardson-Hollow Mental Health Agency in the Children Services Division. He also maintains a small private practice in Lewiston.
