AUBURN – A combined reunion of the Mechanic Falls High School classes of 1957 and 1958 was held at Rolandeau’s Restaurant.

Those attending with their spouses and/or friends from the class of ’57 were: Susan (Adkins) Barry, Greg Curtis, Deanna (Duchette) Fickett, Wilmont Herrick, Francis Lenahan, Roy Manchester, Ginni (McAllister) Timberlake, Chris (Edwards) Pare’, Ken Roberts, Rodney Sargent and Wanita (Winslow) Yeaton.

Representing the class of ’58 were: Roger Arris, Dick Barry, Bob Benson, Danny Bisbee, Joanne (Harriman) Brown, Frank Chapman, Emma (Kelley) Curtis, Priscilla Edwards, Chet Herrick, Jim Maher, Elayne (Callahan) Maher, Dick Maberry, Janet (Hanscom) Pulsifer, Bill Samaris, Bill Slattery, Doris (Raynor) Tripp and Dorothy (Raynor) Turner.

The event was the first one for the class of 1958 and the second for the class of 1957. Dick Barry was Master of Ceremonies. Ryan Bryant entertained on guitar, singing many oldies. Emma (Kelley) Curtis also played guitar and sang a spiritual song she composed.

Deceased classmates were remembered with a memorial pictorial as follows: Janice (Goodall) Barry McKenzie, Sandra (Davis) Chase, Leland Crooker, Maude (Curtis) Cullerton, Ted Hill, Tom Kyllonen, Judy Libby, Karen Marchand, Judy (Piper) Needham, Allen Taylor and Arnold Yates.

Those unable to attend were Lydia (Crabtree) Chase, Leonard Cotton, Louis Gagne, Dick Gurney, Carol (Slattery) Kimball, Meredith Madore, Jim Plummer, Rhoda (Sanborn) Rousseau, Leighton Spiller, Barbara (Whittier) Thomson and Lorraine Tufts.
