MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire is working on a comprehensive plan to conserve its wildlife.
Nearly 100 environmental leaders met on Thursday to lay out priorities, including how to save habitat and handling wildlife encounters with residents. They also will look at tax incentives for landowners to protect their land from development.
The state Fish and Game Department will collect information to help develop the plan.
