1931 – 2004

OLMSTEAD FALLS, Ohio – Nancy Jane Littlefield (nee Kelley), 73, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, passed away at her home surrounded by family on March 5, due to cancer.

Born and raised in Lewiston, she was the daughter of the late Lewiston High School Principal Lynwood J. Kelley and English teacher Florence Morrill Kelley.

After graduating from the University of Maine with high distinction, she married her husband of 50 years, Fred C. Littlefield. They settled in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was a wonderful homemaker, raising four children.

She supported many organizations, and was PTA president. She was a member of the Bridge Club and the Discussion Group; was a hospice volunteer, an Action for Health instructor, and worked as an oral surgeon’s assistant.

She created beautiful gardens, loved her neighbors, was active with tennis, water exercise, running and painted in water colors. We thank God for having had the opportunity to know her – whether for a moment, a season, or a lifetime.

She was the beloved wife of Fred Colby Littlefield, originally of Brewer; dear mother of Kim Brown (Tom), Judy Collins (Darrel), Fred K. (Janet) and Amy Thompson (Kevin); the loving grandmother of 10; and the cherished sister of John Kelley of Shrewsbury, Mass.
