AUBURN – The film “Snow Falling on Cedars” will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at the Great Falls School on Academy Street.

The free presentation is part of the One Book/One Community: L-A Reads! community-wide reading program. It is made possible by the Parks and Recreation Department.

Film critics describe the movie as a riveting tale of mystery that is hypnotic, mesmerizing and inspiring. It’s a murder trail story set in the 1950s on a quite island in the Puget Sound.
