DIXFIELD – Neighborly Senior Citizens met March 17 with 60 members present. The meeting was called to order by President Connie Tutlis. Observing March birthdays were Tom Warner, Marcel Martineau and Thelma Judkins. Observing March anniversaries were Marcel and Nila Martineau, 34 years, and Phyllis and Lester Prue, 52 years.
New members welcomed were Ralph Spencer, Connie Spencer, Joyce Morgan, Pat McBride and Richard Swan. Door prize winners were Paula MacDonald and Clayton Davis. Following a potluck dinner, entertainment was furnished by Just the Two of Us, Norman and Betty DeCoteau.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 21, with a free roast pork dinner courtesy of Swasey Torrey Post 100. Entertainment will be provided by Silver and Gold.
Trips will include Lac Megantic on April 1 and the Blue Hawaii show on May 3 at the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, N.H. The show will Stan Jr. as Elvis and Don Who as Don Ho. The trip will include a welcome reception and Hawaiian luncheon buffet. Cost is $40. Space is available. Call Connie at 364-4189 for details. Pick-up will be in Dixfield, Mexico and Bethel.
