• March 22, 10:30 a.m.: A Livermore resident reported the theft of her license plates from her black 2000 Hyundai Enlantra. The registration tags were still missing as of March 27.
• March 22, 7 a.m.: A Bethel Auto Sales employee reported that a vehicle in the lot had sustained damage. The criminal mischief incident remains under investigation.
• March 21, 10 a.m.: Mountain Greenery reported that during the overnight, someone stole 15 bags of potting soil. Police are looking for a silver or light blue Ford Ranger pickup truck or Chevrolet S10 pickup, which was spotted at the location during the theft. Investigating patrolman Rusty Daley said the truck was occupied by two men and left the area, traveling toward Bethel.
• March 19, 9:15 a.m.: A woman reported that her daughter had been assaulted in Bethel last November. The investigation was turned over to Captain James P. Miclon of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.
• March 18, 8:10 p.m.: A Rumford Center resident reported that while her purple 1997 Mercury Tracer sedan was parked at Telstar High School on Walkers Mills Road someone entered the unlocked car. Miscellaneous items and cash worth about $50 were taken.
• March 15, 1 p.m.: Five Bethel officers assisted Maine Drug Enforcement agent Tony Milligan and Oxford County Deputy Chancey Libby in serving a search warrant at 25 Paradise Road.
• March 13, 4 p.m.: Police are looking for a blue station wagon, after its owner drove away from the Irving Mainway on Route 2 without paying for $10 in gas.
• March 13: Assisted state police with an arrest at a residence on Bog Road in Gilead.
• March 11, 3:30 to 4 p.m.: Animal control officer Ozzie Hart did follow up work with the “12 Dogs of Christmas” movie production company at a filming shoot.
• March 11, 3:30 p.m.: Received word from Augusta that rabies tests were negative on a bat brought to Crescent Park School by a child on March 9. Hart, who transported the flying mammal to Augusta on March 10, advised Crescent Park School officials.
• March 10, 3:30 p.m.: On movie detail for “12 Dogs of Christmas” filming by an Encino, Calif. based independent movie production company.
SUMMONS
• Mark Hindman, 35, of Bethel, on a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle more than 150 days.
