LEWISTON – Brian A. Zutter has been named an assistant vice president in the Technology Department at Banknorth Group Inc. in Lewiston. An information systems project manager, he will continue to be responsible for planning and managing medium to large size technology-related projects.
Zutter joined Banknorth in 2001. In 2003, he received the Banknorth Excellence Award, the company’s top leadership award recognizing employees for leadership and outstanding service.
A Portland resident, Zutter volunteers on the board for the North Deering Neighborhood Association. He is a 1987 graduate of the New Hampshire Technical Institute. The son of Tony and Linda Zutter of North Charlestown, N.H., he is a 1985 graduate of Fall Mountain Regional High School in Langdon, N.H.
Job fair planned
in April at CMCC
AUBURN – The first Androscoggin County Community Job Fair will be held on the campus of Central Maine Community College on Thursday, April 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. and Friday, April 9, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. There is no charge, and all job seekers are welcome.
Representatives of more than 30 area employers will be on hand to describe current job openings and to conduct interviews with potential employees.
“This is an opportunity to make crucial connections that could well result in landing a new job immediately or in the near future,” according to Chip Morrison, president of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce. “Job seekers are encouraged to come to the job fair with up-to-date resumes, ready to be considered for employment on the spot.”
Employers with openings in health, finance and insurance, manufacturing and industrial trades, information technology, social services, and retail will be looking for potential workers in a variety of settings, including both business and nonprofit. Information about professional, management, entry-level, part-time, summer/seasonal and temporary/temp-to-hire positions will also be available.

Scott earns career car from Mary Kay
GRAY – Mary Kay independent sales director Marcia Scott of Gray has earned the use of the new 2004 MK Signature platinum Pontiac Grand Prix for outstanding personal sales and team building.
Scott began her Mary Kay career as an independent beauty consultant in 1991, and became an independent sales director in 1996. This is Scott’s fourth career car.
