BAYONET POINT, Fla. – Leith N. Calden, 76, a resident of Bayonet Point, Fla., passed away on March 22.

Born in Phillips, he retired from the Maine Central Railroad in l987, and had spent the last 15 years in Florida, and Peru.

Mr. Calden was a Navy and Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War and a member of the American Legion, Post 24.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian; two sons, Eric of New Gloucester and Bruce and wife, Rebecca of Brunswick; a sister, Joyce Myles and husband, Harry of Mexico; a cousin, Don Lavoie and wife, Janice of Strong; and grandchildren, Erica of New Gloucester and Joel, Luke and Amanda of Brunswick.
